TRANSPORTATION

Transportation to and from Camp is either by personal vehicle or by camp bus. The bus is not public but for Peninsula Day Camp campers and volunteers only.

Below is the expected bus schedule for this year. May vary slightly due to traffic.

Week One: Monday - Friday has an AM pick up to Camp & PM drop off from Camp
Week Two: Monday - Wednesday has an AM pick up to Camp & PM drop off from Camp
Thursday is an AM pick up to Camp ONLY
Friday is mid-day drop off from Camp ONLY

The buses run to and from camp from many locations in our service areas. Each bus is limited to a certain number of camper and adult seats. The available seats are allocated when the camper and/or adult registers on a first come basis. If a specific bus stop is not available, please choose an alternate bus stop with your camper's friend's parent. To ensure that your camper and friend are on the same bus, you must register for a bus at the same time with enough open seats on it.

If you do not get your first bus stop choice, please email logistics at peninsuladaycamp.org to submit a request to switch bus stops. Please include the campers name, grade in the Fall, current bus stop and desired bus stop location. These requests are looked at late in May in request order, we will do our best to help all campers get their first choice but cannot guarantee it.

Parking at bus stop locations: please observe any posted signs for handicapped parking, restricted hours, no parking zones or areas, fire lanes, fire hydrants, driveways, pedestrian cross walks, etc.
Please obey any traffic laws regarding parking.
