Volunteer Screening

All at-camp volunteers must complete the Council's Volunteer Screening Process.

Note that fingerprinting services will be available to you, at no charge, at each of the volunteer trainings. (If you prefer, you can choose the option of having a background check instead.)

Question: I've completed the Girl Scouts' screening process before. Do I need to do it again?

Answer:

  • If you have undergone the Girl Scouts' fingerprinting process, that is good forever. You don't need to do anything else.
  • The background-check process is good for 3 years. If you are unsure of your background check date, we can confirm your status for you.
